Painting with light is a different way of taking photographs; you literally paint your subject with light.
Head along for a fun night of experimenting with this unique form of photography! It will be more experimentation than a formal workshop. You will be shown the theory of how it all works and the rest is up to you!
Saturday, April 29
– a camera with manual settings > you will need to be able to keep the shutter open for extended periods. If you aren’t sure how to change your settings, just bring your manual camera along. Any other camera is unsuitable.
– a sturdy tripod > you must be able to set your shutter and leave the camera to do the light painting. There may be some shots we will do freehand but the majority will be tripod based.
– a good light source > you will need a torch or spotlight, full charged.
How much: Members $50 | Non-members $80 | Arts Alive membership is only $20/year
