The annual Netwaste Waste 2 Art competition is a community art exhibition and competition and is open to everyone in our region (Bourke, Cobar, Coonamble, Walgett and Warren shires).

Coonamble >

Entry forms are available at the Coonamble Shire Library or Outback Arts or see link below.

Entries close on 5th May > Entries must be delivered to Outback Arts Gallery on 8th-10th May, between 9:30am-4:00pm.

Exhibition > 15th May – 2nd June at Outback Arts Gallery

Opening night and annoucement of winners > Thursday 18th May, 5pm

Collection > Artwork not going onto regional exhibition must be collected from Outback Arts on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th of June

Warren >

Entry forms are available from the Warren Shire Council Chambers or their website or see link below.

Entries close on Monday 1st May > Entries must be delivered to the Warren Sporting and Cultural Centre, with entry form between 3:00-5:00pm.

Competition function and announcement of winners > Thursday 4th May, 6pm

Walgett >

Entry forms are available from the Walgett Library and Visitor Information Centre.

Entries close on Monday 31st July > Entries must be delivered to the Walgett Library with entry form.

Exhibition > 5th – 12th August at Walgett Library as part of the Bulldust to Bitumen Festival

Announcement of winners > Saturday 12th of August.

Bourke >

Entries close June 17th

Exhibition > 17th – 26th June at the Men’s Shed, Mitchell Street.

 

Entry form > netwasteentryform16-17

Entries are accepted from groups or individuals with the categories including Primary School, High School, Community, Open and Building/Sculpture. The entries can be 2D, 3D or functional. There is also a theme category being plastic bags and soft plastic packaging, and a scrap metal category.
