Country Arts Support Program (CASP)
This annual funding program provides small grants to arts and community organizations and local arts councils in regional NSW for short term, locally initiated projects. It is coordinated by the Outback Arts Regional Arts Board.

Artstart
The ArtStart NSW Youth Arts and Skills program (ArtStart) is an initiative of the NSW Government designed for young people aged 12 to 24 years in New South Wales. The program provides opportunities for young people to develop skills through participating in arts and cultural projects as well as performing and exhibiting their work during a two week festival period, held every second year.

Outback Arts and Show Societies.
In 2011 Outback Arts, in conjunction with the Show Societies of Walgett, Bourke, Cobar, Coonamble, Gulargambone and Warren, helped promote and support by sponsoring a section in photography
The winners were:
Walgett – Cath Deshan (People’s Choice)
Cobar – John Cain (Wildlife in the Outback – Jnr Photography)
Coonamble – James Nalder (Local Landmarks) and Donna Ditchfield
Gulargambone – Peter Byrne (Champion Colour and Champion black-and-white)
Warren – 1. Ros Jackson 2. Hannah Russ and Jnr Arielle Irving (local landmarks: Floods)
Bourke – Barbara Davis ( Local Landmarks – 2010/2011 Flood photos)
R.I.C.S. Strategy/R.I.C.D.O Program
Work continues on the Outback Arts Regional Indigenous Cultural Development Strategy (RICS) which seeks to support the development of Indigenous arts and culture through a number of initiatives, the main of which is the employment of a Regional Indigenous Cultural Development Officer (RICDO).
Outback Arts continues to source funding to operate this program that has been running for nearly a decade. In the last year, the position has been split into 6 part time positions with a RICDO operating in each of the Outback Arts contributing shires with excellent outcomes.

Gatineau Jackson Collection
During 2005 Outback Arts was approached by a Private Art Collector, displaying great enthusiasm to donate some original artworks to Outback Arts. Their idea being for the Far West Region to gain access to these predominately Modern Art pieces. Artists range from Arthur Boyd, to Amanda Penros Hart, Alexander McKenzie and much more.
Outback Arts Cultural Fund
The Outback Arts Cultural Fund allows Outback Arts to receive tax deductible donations to continue its work in arts and cultural development. Please contact us if you would like to donate towards building creative communities through the Outback Arts Cultural Fund.
Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC) Regional Art Space
In 2006 The Western Plains Cultural Centre developed an exciting new exhibit space targeting the talents of visual artist residing in regional Australia. Regionally the space is supported by partners Outback Arts and Orana Arts.

Healthy Art Space & Rural Transaction Art Space
Outback Arts Art Spaces are available to any artists wishing to hold an exhibition, be it Photography, Painting or any other medium. Exhibitions can included saleable work, in which case will incur a small commission if sold. For an application to either the Coonamble RTC Art Space or the Healthy Arts Space within the newly built Coonamble MPS (Hospital) Please contact Jamie-Lea: rado@outbackarts.com.au
Creative Volunteering
Regional Arts Australia has received funds from the Australian Government through the Regional Arts Fund to continue its national skills development project, called Creative Volunteering – No Limits, for volunteers working in cultural sectors in regional Australia.
