HOW OUTBACK ARTS CAN HELP

Networks - by using relationships we have with funding bodies and other agencies and organisations to get your idea to the right people.  We can also put you in touch with people in your local community or region that can help

Advocacy – by supporting your project plans by speaking with or writing letters of support to funding bodies ‘vouching’ for your project.

Grant Writing Tools – including project planning and writing guides

One on one support – You can access our Regional Arts Development Officer (RADO) by telephone, email, or by making an appointment to see her during her next visit to your town.

Outback Arts Cultural Fund.

Artworkers Small Grants Program
Artworkers provide Financial Assistance and Project Grants of up to $500 to our members. Applications must be received by the last working day of each month.

This Australian Government cultural program provides assistance to regional and remote communities by providing funds for an artist/s to undertake a residency to work with communities to express their stories through visual arts/crafts, literature, dance, music, drama or other media.

This Australian Government cultural funding program provides assistance to Australian regional and community festivals for the presentation of quality cultural projects. Funding is available to add a new or special sort of cultural activity that has never been done before and could not otherwise be afforded

Legs-up Grants for Volunteer Run Museums

Leg-up grants are available at any time through the year until all funds are expended. $100-$500 dollar-for-dollar matched grants are available for purposes such as attending a workshop, visiting another museum to gather information, hosting an event, travel assistance, attendance fees or speakers fees.

ABC Radio Regional Production Fund 
The ABC Radio Regional Production Fund commissions work from experienced radio producers and talented content providers who reside outside the major capital cities. They look for documentary features or series, music segments, drama, comedy, serials, short stories, history, poetry, discussion programs or creative broadcast events. You might have an idea for a complete and delivered program which fits within an existing ABC Radio format, an original script, a collection of oral histories or a series of songs.
