Brewarrina Circus

$203,000 - (Department of Communications Information Technology & the Arts; Ministry for the Arts; Joblink Plus; RAF; Accessible Arts; Brewarrina Shire Council; Flying Fruit Fly Circus)- -June 2002 – Jan 2006: Acquitted

The Brewarrina Youth Circus Project began from a conversation between circus performer and trainer Kate Reid and then Outback Arts RADO Cath Fogarty in Bourke.

Outback Arts has performed executive and finance services for the project over the years with funding received from a number of grant providers.

2006 - Brewarrina Youth Circus visited the Commonwealth games in Melbourne where they performed at the Opening Ceremony and Cultural Arts Festival.  Part of their training was supported through a grant under the auspice of Outback Arts.

In 2007 the project continues into a new phase with the Brewarrina Community and circus trainers looking at future projects and planning.
