'In the Bin Short Film Festival & Education Program' presented by  Coonamble High School & Coonamble Arts Alive

In the Bin Short Film Festival and Educations Program tours the Outback Arts region in August / September 2008.  Outback Arts is seeking support from local community groups and members, schools, and local business to ensure that this project is secure.  In the Bin's patron is Australian actor Jack Thompson.  It features options of an MA, PG, and the Australian Film Commission's 'Black Screen' programs.

An anti bullying play for primary aged children and their parents.  Jack is smart and funny and eleven years old. Jack is also being bullied and needs help. Unfortunately, Jack’s mother is too wrapped up in herself to see this and Jack’s teacher, Mr. Angelou, is too busy to pay attention to the warning signs. But little does Jack know that help is close at hand.  (Based on the book by Suzanne Gervay)

Coonamble Quota Cancer Survival Fund - 8 km loop from Coonamble Golf Club, fun and exercise for the whole family, - walk, run or ride -  registrations from 9.00am at golf club, walk starts at 10.00am.
