BREWARRINA,
Visitor Info & Cultural Centre, 50 Bathurst St., 6:30pm
Critical Stages "The Pitch" (comedy theatre)
Peter
Houghton’s brilliantly written and performed play strips
bare the whole shabby business of Hollywood film writing.
The Pitch is set in the apartment of Walter Weinermann an
aspiring screenwriter, just before he is about to pitch his
screenplay to a heavy hitting film industry panel. We watch
as Walter practices pitching his film and tries to get his
story straight in time for his one shot at the big time.
