Margie Pye
was employed to both manage Outback
Arts in the capacity of Executive Officer and to
facilitate and promote arts and community cultural
development in the region. Margie is a successful
practising artist..
Angela Sidoti
has worked with Outback Arts since September 2005.
Since then she has met with and established networks
in all the region’s communities. Angela has a
Bachelor of Arts Communications and a Bachelor of Applied
Science (Environmental Health) Honours and has a
background in youth development,
sociology, research and event management. Angela is
currently on leave until the end of the year.
Sam
Newstead
commenced at Outback Arts on 26th May 2008 for
a six months stint while Angela is on Maternity
Leave. No stranger to the area Sam is
the renowned artist behind the Gulargambone ‘tin
galahs’
and is also well known for her
successful exhibitions at two eight two eight.
Leigh FlowersLeigh
is employed four days a week, and is responsible
for general administration duties and
communications. Leigh designs and distributes the
quarterly ArtBark newsletter and creates informative
monthly e-bulletins. Leigh also manages regular
spots with ABC radio and 2WEB. Leigh and her husband
moved to Coonamble from Mount Riverview in August
2006.
